Malverne Senior High School Reviews
Quality Score: 5 Post Date:2009-10-22
“MHS was a great school. Teachers are very helpful, especially when it comes times for SATs and preparing for college. At the time, the school seemed very small because of our small class sizes, but since graduating from college this year, going to a small school has many benefits including developing close relationships with the faculty and having more personal interactions that help in the enhancement of ones character.” This review was posted by a other.

“Malverne High School has only 510 kids in the 4 year High School. A very diverse community delivers one of the best educational experiences any child can have. We have lived in 3 communities and none came close to providing the life skills, academic skills, great sports, extracurriculars plus one of the best competition HS bands in NY. The school and each class is so small that the students do more things than you think is possible. Full 120 piece band, full athletic teams in every sport. Socially active, every national club, Black Studies, active NHS,SAAD,Model UN and Congress etc. Fantastic school, teachers and student body. Our daughter is in college now and still comes home to see friends and the band when possible. (Love our town too)” This review was posted by a parent.

“I went to Malverne High School and graduated in 2001, I have finished a bachelors degree in Marine Science and will have a masters in education in the spring of 2008, Malverne high school was a great place to be and be from and I have many fond memories of walking the halls, going to class and socializing. The Teachers are dedicated and truly work for the students best interests. I am proud to say I went there. Vicky Rochford” This review was posted by a other.

“Malverne could be a wonderful school, but I find it lacking in administrative leadership and vision. There is too much emphasis on grades and not enough creativity in most classes. Although I have to commend the Music department teachers and students for their dedication and hard work. It truly shows in their presentations.” This review was posted by a parent.
