“Hewlett High School is clearly among the greatest in the country. Its staff is very knowledgeable, and every student is given a chance to succeed. Hewlett has a number of extracurricular activities: performance groups such as chamber orchestra, chorale, and jazz band; a school musical and two plays each year; and many clubs covering a diverse field of subjects from mathematics to English. Hewlett has been remarkably successful in many of these activities. It is easy to say that there exists a 'club for everyone.'”

“Hewlett High School is probably one of the best schools in the country. There are many amazing teachers, however there are some that are not as great. Outstanding elective classes exist in all academic departments. There are literally hundreds of exrta curriculars. If you are geared towards Art and Music there is a wonderful department for each. Hewlett even has its own Business Education Department of which I've taken 3 classes and enjoyed it. Most of the teachers legitimately care about EACH students needs. Teachers are backed up by an outstanding guidance department. However, you can only get a 100% great experience from Hewlett if you truly want one. In other words, if you make it a great experience, it will be one. Hewlett is indeed one of the best schools in USA.”

“your experience at hewlett is largely dependent on what you make of it. there are a slew of amazing teachers and some not great ones too. however the good largely outweighs the bad. the extra curriculars are open to students, by this I mean that students are encouraged to create a club which fits their interests if it does not already exist. I would say my experience there was a relatively good one”
